A Good Day at White Rock

"A Good Day at White Rock" is the third episode of the first season of the television series ''Knight Rider''. The episode was written by Deborah Davis, and directed by Daniel Haller, who also directed the pilot episode "Knight of the Phoenix". Bonnie doesn't appear in this episode, only seen in the opening credits.
In this episode, Michael Knight goes on a vacation, but has to fight with a biker gang.
==Plot==

The episode opens with three drug dealers making cocaine in a drug laboratory. However, then Michael drives KITT into the building and arrests them by holding them at gunpoint, also destroying 4 million US dollars worth cocaine in the process. Then the drug dealers are sent to prison for five years.
Later, Michael meets Devon at a fancy restaurant and tells him he wants to take some time off, by going rock-climbing. Devon agrees, then Michael and KITT drive to a little town named White Rock. Michael then stops at a store, and asks Sherry Benson (Anne Lockhart), the store owner for a hamburger. Meanwhile, Sherry's little brother Davey (Keith Coogan) comes into the store, being fascinated about KITT. Michael then agrees to take Davey for a drive. Davey asks Michael to drop him off by a yellow van, saying that he wants to see the look on Donny Spencer's (Kyle Oliver) face when he arrives in KITT.
Michael drops Davey off by the van, but after driving off, he looks at the rear-view mirror and sees Donny beating up Davey. He makes an illegal U-turn, and so gets tailed by a local sheriff Bruckner. Michael then breaks up the fight. Then, Donny's big brother Lonny (Alex Daniels) comes and berates Michael for leaning against his van and touching his little brother. However, Lonny also calls KITT dumb, to which Michael remarks: ''"Dumb, eh? Your family seems to have some sort of limited vocabulary,"'' since Donny had also called KITT dumb, what got him into the fight with Davey. Lonny is about to attack Michael, but then Bruckner (James Callahan) intervenes, calling himself a peace officer, with emphasis on the word "peace". He suggests that Michael would just go on rock-climbing. However, before Michael could go, sheriff asks for his driver's license, because of the illegal U-turn.
Davey then tells Michael that he had let the sheriff "push him around", to which Michael tells that if Davey wants to get older than ten, he has to learn when to fight and when not to fight. Davey asks if he should fight when he has a chance to win, to which Michael says that's how bullies think, and he should fight only if he has no other choice. Michael then leaves White Rock to go rock-climbing. On the road, he passes a biker gang named "Scorpions", who drove to the town on the bikes. They vandalize Lonny's van, and later go to Sherry's shop.
Meanwhile, Bruckner comes into the shop and surprisingly, doesn't do anything to stop the bikers, even going as far to accept just $20 for everything, and also give the bikers a free six-pack of beer, much to Sherry's dismay. After the bikers leave, Sherry asks Bruckner why he didn't attempt to arrest the bikers. Bruckner then tells her that they were lucky to get off that easy, and the bikers are just looking for trouble, but soon they will be gone and everything will be back to normal.
Michael is still rock-climbing, when Davey arrives at the top, telling him about the bikers. Michael and Davey then go to the store, but then, biker Hilly (Don Stroud) arrives. He asks Michael if he could take KITT around the block, but fails to get the door open. After Michael successfully opens KITT's door, to which Hilly says that nobody makes a fool of him and gets away with it. Michael then tells Hilly that he must have watched too many bad movies as a kid, because he "acts so lousy, and ten years out of date." Then he pulls out a knife and attempts to attack Michael, but fails. Then the other bikers arrive. Michael and Sherry then get into KITT, then Michael knocks over the drivers' bikes, who they start attacking KITT with rods and chains. Then Bruckner arrives and arrests Michael.
Michael is taken to jail, then he calls KITT through his watch. KITT then successfully drives out of the impound, while Michael gets the jail cell's keys with some string and a hook. He then opens the cell and leaves the jail, where KITT had just arrived. Then they drive to the Scorpions' campsite, where Michael, dressed as a biker, spies on them. He overhears that the Scorpions are planning to fight Road Dogs, another biker gang, in White Rock. Then he drives back to White Rock. However, after Michael and KITT leave, Davey had sneaked away and was also spying on the bikers, but gets caught. Back at White Rock, Michael picks up Sherry and they drive to talk to Bruckner.
Later, Michael and Sherry go to the Scorpions' campsite, but discover that they had captured Davey. Michael then does some 360s with KITT around bikers, who then get caught in the smokescreen, while Michael saves Davey. Then they drive off, being chased by the Scorpions. They manage to lose some of the bikers by a lake, then they drive back to White Rock. After they drove past a tree (and a traffic sign on the other side of the road), Bruckner and Lonny then tie a rope across the road on the tree and the road sign. This works and the remaining bikers are knocked off their bikes. Bruckner then apologizes to Michael for arresting him earlier.
Then the Road Dogs arrive, but see the Scorpions' bikes lying on the ground and Bruckner cocking a shotgun, who then tells them that they "made a wrong turn" off some road and points out what happened to the Scorpions. Their leader then tells the other bikers to turn around, and they leave White Rock.
Michael then pays a visit to Devon, again at the same restaurant he was in earlier. They agree to call the "vacation" as a mission of Foundation, and then Michael asks if he could go on another vacation. Devon agrees, and tells him not to hurry back, then Michael and Sherry drive off in KITT. Michael then puts KITT on Auto Cruise, and kisses Sherry as the episode ends.
